Talk:Iran nuclear deal framework

Question edit

The article states "Of course nuclear facilities such as Fordow, Natanz and Arak will operate as in past." Is that actually correct? The reports I've seen say that they'll be used differently than they've been used in the past. Blaylockjam10 (talk) 21:24, 3 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

it's incorrect! according to the framework Fordow, which was an underground center, will become research center instead of enrichment center. And, Arak, which was heavy water facility with plutonium byproducts, will be redesigned with help of "international joint venture" into something else. The only enrichment center will be Natanz with less centrifuges. I guess the only reliable source is the joint statement. Mmehdi.g (talk) 17:18, 5 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
It's artful wording by Zarif. Iran insisted that no facilities be shut down, and in fact all three facilities will continue to operate. They will not operate in the same way they did, but "as in the past" they will operate. NPguy (talk) 01:33, 6 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
