I would like to add the following to the 2008 section:

In August 2008, the DiBuck currency system was introduced in reaction to increasingly inflationary global economic trends. It remains experimental in its approach to combating inflation via arithmetic scarcity, without recourse to any physical commodity backing.

Support sounds good to me after doing a little digging makes sense.
