Russia is already member of WTO (sad result) edit

Russia became member of WTO 22 August 2012. This state ratified (EN) the WIPO Performances and Phonograms Treaty (in July 2008). With some reservations (which does not let violate copyright of foreign authors after joining to WTO totally). Only separate agreement can create limitations on this issue (two or several states). Read the agreement TRIPS to understand better the situation (original). Russia must respect copyright even more (when we say about USA). But .. Sad result. I suggest protect millions of authors from the US (violation of them rights in Russia). Damages exist on illegal grounds. Russia has the bilateral agreements on this issue with even more popularity (double standarts must not exist very many years (((((EN))))). Currently exists the great damage for these authors: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Swedish_musical_groups - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Swedish_pop_music_groups - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Swedish_record_labels (not exists of other understanding of the situation absolutely). The real diamond of the Swedish culture: ABBA - Ace of Base .. And Sweden has membership in those international organizations. Additional agreements of Sweden and Russia (related to copyright - trade and other agreements): 1 (EN) - 2 (EN). Help for Swedish authors and not only: Global Intellectual Property Center (belongs to the US government) - is to protect copyright worldwide (Sweden - including). Links to the dangerous pages with search results are used here only to demonstrate the violation (to destroy the violation as more sooner after the such demonstration). Thank you for pointing out (first sentence of all of the above) that the article needed to be updated with the accession of the Russian federation to the WCT, WPPT, and WTO, which I've done now.

However, I don't understand any of the rest. It doesn't seem to be about the content of the article. Please note that Wikipedia talk pages are supposed to be used for discussion about Wikipedia article content. If you want to lobby about copyright issues at IFPI or other organizations, please do so on their websites, not here. Thank you.

Do not write st...ity. The band "Ace of Bace" can to say you: "Big thank you". + else hundreds of authors from all the world (which want invest and so on).. I not want invest (but I write you also: Thank you, Lupo - you "real friend" of respecting of copyright on Wikipedia). Because main protection was deleted now (including). Make article better (and to publish only the relevant topic here) ????? !!!!! Not exist of more important details on this issue (results of joining WTO by Russia in the context of copyright, Berne convention, TRIPS ....., separate agreements ..- all of this is main meaning of the article). But such results - not for this article (because violations not must be displayed for the public widely). P.S. Nobody will protect authors (government does not want pay money). And we can forget about retro. Pre 1973: Magical Mystery Tour (film) - 1967 year ("Волшебное таинственное путешествие" by Russian) is in the public domain in Russia currently (see the phrase and make translation: "Фильм перешел в общественное достояние. ПРОКАТНОЕ УДОСТОВЕРЕНИЕ УТРАТИЛО СИЛУ"). This is the website of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. United States and Russian Federation Agree on Action Plan to Improve Intellectual Property Rights Protection

Washington, D.C. – United States Trade Representative Ron Kirk today announced agreement between the United States and the Russian Federation (Russia) on an Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Action Plan to improve IPR protection and enforcement. The IPR Action Plan addresses priority areas including combating IPR infringement over the Internet and strengthening IPR enforcement.

“Agreement on the IPR Action Plan represents a significant step at a historic time in our bilateral economic relationship. With this step, Russia and the United States have demonstrated a serious commitment to continued engagement on strengthening IPR protection and enforcement,” said Ambassador Kirk. “This step is particularly important in light of Russia’s recent membership in the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the application of the WTO Agreement between us. Russia has made commendable progress in improving its IPR regime, and the Action Plan signals a commitment to maintain that momentum to address IPR priorities.”

“The IPR Action Plan delivers on shared U.S. and Russian objectives, as reaffirmed by the recent G8 Ministerial Declaration, to promote strong IPR protection and enforcement to advance our innovative economies,” Ambassador Kirk continued. “IPR theft is among the chief threats to any innovative economy. Intellectual property rights not only protect our creators and innovators, but also promote foreign investment, economic development, and job creation. The IPR Action Plan affirms the importance both sides place on advancing IPR protection and enforcement.” ............
