Is this satellite still orbiting? DarthVader 07:12, 23 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Yes, the main article explains that it is so high with little friction and it will orbit indefinitely.

This article needs some illustrating. Would someone feel like uploading some of these NASA images:

Gary Ferland at the control console of the International Ultraviolet Explorer space telescope

I uploaded two images from my days using IUE. This is the GSFC IUE control panel in operation in 1983. Contrast this with the panel today in a museum in the IUE main article.

This is the IUE flight spare (a copy of the IUE in orbit) at GSFC in 1983. It later spent time in the Smithsonian on the Mall. Would these be a contribution to the main article? There is a comment asking for more images. — Preceding unsigned comment added by LexGary23 (talkcontribs) 02:43, 26 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

There is no need to edit war, there needs to be a discussion here, and we need to reach consensus as to what content is right. Puffin Let's talk! 10:37, 29 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
