TriMet Access?

I don't know about this. The only bus that goes up there is the 18, and that only runs six times a day on weekdays, and not at all on weekends. StradivariusTV 29 June 2005 23:20 (UTC)

You must be thinking of Pittock Mansion or something. The rose garden is in Washington Park, served by Line 63 and the shuttle. --Jason McHuff 00:41, 22 September 2005 (UTC)

Move to Wikitravel

I would suggest that much of this information be moved to the Wikitravel article on Portland [1]. Using other articles in Category:Urban public parks as guidelines (such as Morningside Park, Pelham Bay Park, Loring Park, Hyde Park, Sydney, etc.), the size and much of the content isn't really appropriate. I disagree. The Test Garden isn't just a ordinary Rose Garden that you would find in any American or European park, but an internationally recognized botanical repository of new varieties. CFLeon 00:16, 9 August 2006 (UTC)

I'm not saying that the article does not belong here, but statements like: Walking on the lawn between the beds is perfectly acceptable. This is a good way to closely observe and enjoy the fragrances, colors and tranquility of the gardens.... Admission is free; voluntary donation dropboxes are near the entrances.... Each area of the rose garden has unique character: rose varieties, trees, terrain, lawn. arent appropriate for an encyclopedia and are inconsistent with similar articles on Wikipedia. Things like the size and location of the gift shop are not notable. Cacophony 01:07, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
