So inaccurate edit
SBX-1 does not have "interceptor" missiles.
We have the means to get U.S. Army Special Forces Teams at U.S. Air Force Supersonic speeds to anywhere Worldwide, to do the U.S. Army Special Forces Reconnaissance, Rescue, Recapture, Recovery Mission.
The U.S. Navy Sea Air Land (S.E.A.L.s) routinely failed to do the U.S. Army Special Forces Reconnaissance, Rescue, Recapture, Recovery Mission even attempting to Recapture moving U.S. Navy Ships. So after the Terrorist Hijacking of the Passenger ship Achille Lauro. the U.S. Army Special Forces got stuck with that Mission, of Recapturing Ships, Submarines, Aircraft, Buildings, as S.E.A.L. Team 5 at that time stationed a Pearl Harbor Ford Island Hawaii routinely failed. A U.S. Navy Captain, Grade O-6 S.E.A.L. broke his back on the aft deck of a U.S. Navy Ship.
This Movie is set in the WRONG Location, "Miles from Hawaii", as Missiles Launched from the Russian Federation are going to come over the North Pole, as out of range of the "Interceptor" Missiles of this movie, even if the "Interceptors" were the Long Range Missile Silo Ground based Missile Defense (G.M.D.) Missiles located at Alaska mounted on SBX-1.
The other thing not considered, is that the Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles coming over the North Pole, are going "faster, and farther" than the Anti Ballistic Missiles "Interceptors" due to Earth Rotation of the land passing underneath moving at about 1,000 miles per hour, plus the speed of the Intercontinental Ballistic Missile of Over MACH 20 compared to the "Interceptor" going at MACH 6 against Earth Rotation and against gravity, going from East (near Hawaii) to West (U.S.). As an Instructor (Teacher) I used to Teach the Missile Officer School before the School was Eliminated, as one of the over 13 U.S. Military Career Field Schools I Graduated from and even was Stationed with the Intermediate Range Nuclear Forces Europe, as a U.S. Military Nuclear Weapons Physics and Physiology Officer and Missile Officer, and later out of my Career Field I ended up On the Job Training, as General Officer Staff U.S. Military Intelligence Officer, U.S.S.R. Tactical and Strategic Analyst Officer, having to know everything possible about the U.S.S.R. especially about U.S.S.R. Nuclear Capabilities, Missile Capabilities, Conventional Warfare, Spetsnaz.
Russian Federation Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles, do not only have one Warhead and no decoys.
The current U.S. Anti Ballistic Missiles do not have explosive warheads, nuclear warheads, and must ram into the ICBMs, or Warheads. There will not be an explosion, even if the U.S Anti Ballistic Missile directly hits the explosives of the Nuclear Warhead, this is intentional of the design of Nuclear Warheads. After successful tours with the Intermediate Range Nuclear Forces Europe, as an Instructor (Professor) I used to Teach the Nuclear Weapons Physics and Physiology School, and Course Writer (wrote the Lesson Plans), and later the Branch Chief of the School.Nakamuradavid (talk) 10:51, 1 June 2022 (UTC)
