Adding Pictures

There are many pictures of IIM Raipur. How can we put it? What type of pics can be kept on the page? Kvrk4000 (talk) 16:49, 30 August 2011 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Image use policy covers the relevant issues. I think an image of the temporary campus would be nice, as will an image of one of the items described by the "Campus life" section. You could also add an image of the area for the permanent campus. I assume you are going to upload those images yourself - pay very close attention to copyright. Structure of the page

Is the structure of the page good enough to represent the information regarding IIM Raipur? There are some new headings such as "Industry Interface", "Social Activities" and "Placements" that can be kept. Any suggestions on this?Kvrk4000 (talk) 16:52, 30 August 2011 (UTC)

See Wikipedia:College and university article guidelines. The current sections are pretty much what the guideline suggests. Placements are usually a bad idea - they are more often a tool of promotion and don't relay much neutral information. Social activities fall under "Student life". I have made the discussed changes. Please look into the page and do appropriate corrections. I have added a new section 'Research' and Industry Interface under it. One image of the students in the building has been kept under infrastructure. I have noticed that pages of some universities have a section 'Gallery'. • The "Industry Interface" section you added has nothing to do with research. I added some of it under "Pedagogy".
• For images and galleries see WP:IG. In a nutshell - only include images that help understand the article. Purely decorative images (like the one you added) and indiscriminate inclusion of images are not OK.
