Question about precedence edit

Does anyone know what award sat below the IDSM on the order of precedence? Was it the Indian Meritorious Service Medal, or the mention in despatches? Was it something else altogether? Hello, I have added some refs to the list of notable recepients. There were around 6000 IDSMs awarded between 1907 and 1947, for all sort of military campaigns and also the two World Wars; but sadly, records of very few (comparatively better known/more notable) recepients survive at all, and there are perhaps less than 300 of these whose lives and careers and achievements are well-documented or documented in any reasonable way at all. Thus, I have enlisted the names of some IDSMs I know of , and referenced the ones that are listed and mentioned in some sources. Possibly, not all these sources are as per Wiki criteria, but these people/recepients do deserve recognition in my view and its worthwhile enlisting them here as part of this article, especially those who served during World War 1.
