Confusing language edit

There seems to be some confusion with this article - is it about Independence Day in general, or the events for 2021? The verb "will" is used in many parts of the article - meaning it is about a forthcoming event, presumably this year's celebration, following which it will have to be updated. Overall, it's a bit of a mess. I suggest the best thing to do is to wait until after 17 August this year, then make the necessary changes. Any thoughts anyone?
