Terminology
editAFAIK, 'impossible bottle' is purely AE. I've never heard the term used at all in BE. If this regional usage can be confirmed, the article should mention it. --Ef80 (talk) 20:05, 6 August 2015 (UTC)
- just my 2¢, but i had never actually heard the phrase "impossible bottle" before this article, just "ship in a bottle". of course, that doesn't really cover the other examples. Boomur [☎] 20:15, 6 August 2015 (UTC)
Ways to build one
editIsn't there a third way, namely to take a bottle without a bottom, place the ship inside, and then glaze the bottom in place? 77.183.18.70 (talk) 17:16, 16 June 2021 (UTC)
Harry Eng
editI think this article is worthy of a section on Harry Eng, the modern master of impossible bottles. I would be happy to add this but would appreciate others' views before I do. 84.65.252.59 (talk) 10:06, 10 August 2022 (UTC)
