Ethnicity totals greater than 100%

Maybe I'm being stupid, but could someone explain this particular ethnicity breakdown? Because it makes no sense: 57.9% White, 3.9% Black, 2.3% Asian, 71.8% Hispanic, 0.2% Native American, 33.1% other 82.9.33.18 (talk) 17:59, 7 March 2014 (UTC)

Many Hispanics are White. It may be the possible explanation. But I can't be sure. They should write Non-Hispanic White. 49.200.118.122 (talk) 15:37, 3 May 2015 (UTC)

Looking at the US Census Data for the district, the Hispanic identification is a separate question than the racial identification. The percentages in this entry appear to be correct, but they aren't directly related to each other. I am not sure how to fix this, as it appears to be a congressional district template of some sort, and I am hesitant to try anything to separate the different categories. Perhaps we need to remove the percentages for the Hispanic question from the chart and create a new paragraph in the text section, if there isn't a way to distinguish between them in the chart. Orphaned references in Illinois's 4th congressional district

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Illinois's 4th congressional district's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
