J. M. Fiey (Pour un Oriens Christianus Novus, page 36) gives Hadayat Allah's dates as 1597-8 as maphrian and 1598-1640 as patriarch, which are out by a year from the dates given in this article. I'll check my database of Jacobite manuscript colophons to see whether any of them throw any light on the matter.

- No luck, I'm afraid. My database has three colophons written between 1622 and 1631 that mention him as patriarch, but none from the years that matter.
