Field size

IMO it should be added to the arcticle that the field size this tournament takes place on is even the smaller than those (already small compared to IIHF) used in the NHL and why that is the case and especially how that fits the IIHF regulations. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Armorgeddon (talk • contribs) 15:18, 10 February 2022 (UTC)

The NHL-width rink is permitted under UUHF rules. See Rule 1.2 on page 31 of the IIHF Official Rule Book. I also found references that indicate that NHL-width rinks are to be used for international competitions after 2019. See News.ru article. The KHL is adapting to the change. See this KHL Tweet. semi-finals

the semi-finals are supposed to be re-seeded but I can't get the bracket to work properly. Can someone help fix this please?18abruce (talk) 21:57, 10 February 2022 (UTC)

BTW, is there re-seeding after the playoffs also? Like, if seedings 5, 6, 9 and 10 continue, are the quarterfinal pairs:

• 1–9, 2–10, 3–6 and 4–5 (without re-seeding), or:
• 1–10, 2–9, 3–6 and 4–5 (with re-seeding)?

@18abruce: There is a bug in the module that is causing the brackets to appear. The author of the module proposes two possible solutions. See User talk:Codehydro#Orphan function in RoundN. Taxman1913 (talk) 18:19, 17 February 2022 (UTC)
