Historical name edit

The historical name Ižekovci appears in the cited 1921 source in standard Slovenian. The Prekmurje dialect name Ižekofci appears in the cited 2009 source. Both names are clearly sourced and should not be conflated. Doremo (talk) 14:32, 2 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

The Ižekovci/Ižekofci not historical and not dialectical name, only the orthography is another. The Ižekovci/Ižekofci name is the original, not the Ižakovci, this is forcible name. In Čepinci the original name is the Čöpenci/Čöpinci. The Novak's dictionary is a relevant linguistic book. Doncsecztalk 14:36, 2 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
In this video also "iz Ižekovec" (nom. Ižekofci, gen. Ižekovec). Doncsecztalk 14:43, 2 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

The spelling Ižekovci is cited in a historical standard Slovenian source and is identified as such. The spelling Ižekofci is cited as a dialect form in another source and is also identified as such. There does not appear to be a problem. Doremo (talk) 14:52, 2 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

No, the "vc" also can be found in the Standard Prekmurian, and this is not Slovene influence, but Kajkavian. However this "v" was never clear v in the Standard Prekmurian, but "f." Doncsecztalk 14:56, 2 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
