Technically, 37th Street is just outside Hyde Park, and is part of the North University neighborhood association. adamrice 14:57, 22 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Merging neighborhood with district

The result of this discussion was to merge. Bryanrutherford0 (talk) 15:31, 19 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

I propose to merge this article about the Hyde Park Historic District with the existing article about the Hyde Park neighborhood, Hyde Park (Austin, Texas). An article about the NRHP historic district could have very little content that wouldn't need to be duplicated in the general article about the neighborhood, and this one is currently a bare stub. I think readers would be better served by having all of this material in one (better) article. As precedent, I'll point out that Wikipedia's article about Sixth Street (Austin, Texas) includes the fact that the area is a Historic District; there's no separate article for the NRHP entity. Any objections?-Bryanrutherford0 (talk) 22:51, 10 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
