Birthdate for the infobox edit
He was born either on August 15, 1919; August 15, 1920; or on August 18, 1920 depending on the source. I am using the SSDI date for the infobox since he would have to have provided documentation. --Richard Arthur Norton (1958- ) (talk) 12:25, 28 June 2010 (UTC)
Hung jury is a hung jury edit
"In 1948, Hall was arrested for possession of marijuana, however, he was exonerated by a hung jury." (Quoted from British newspaper The Independent.) In the US, generally speaking, a "hung jury" means the jury did not reach a decision and therefore by definition cannot "exonerate" anyone. And according to the Feb 26, 1949 edition of The Milwaukee Journal, Hall was expected to be retried. However, I can find no sources on the results of a second trial, if indeed it ever took place. So I am going to edit out the obvious error and leave the issue of a retrial to others.
