Clavicle edit

Is the clavicle part of the axial or appendicular skeleton? It's mentioned under 'shoulder girdle' and under 'chest'. I'm confused.

its part of the appendicular skeleton Willing student (talk) 07:45, 22 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Weight of a human skeleton? edit

There seems to be absolutely no mention of the average weight or weight range of human skeletons, nor the ratio of bone weight to body weight. I'm sure readers would be interested in knowing this. Could someone please add this information? Thanks.

The current mentioned weight in the article of 10-11kg is way too high. The cited source (#2) does not even mention anything about bone weight at all. Article should be amended. 87.208.166.165 (talk) 10:19, 5 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

There Should be 300 Bones in Humans at Birth and not 270 (in the introduction page) 115.96.7.55 (talk) 07:00, 15 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. Claims in List of bones of the human skeleton of 300 were remnants of vandalism that I'm addressing now, so don't quote that page. hemantha (brief) 08:36, 15 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
