Blow it up and start over edit
This article has had the 'essay' cleanup tag since 2014. The page is large enough that it would likely be a difficult task to rewrite the entire thing, although if someone feels up to it, I don't wish to discourage that. However, in the absence of any volunteers to fix the page I think we might just want to blow it up and start over. Essentially my proposal here is that the page's text be removed entirely and replaced with a stub which gives a basic explanation of what this is, which would hopefully be expanded in future (if necessary) into a proper article. I'm not suggesting that the page itself be removed entirely and recreated, because I want people to be able to go back in the page's history in case someone does want to try to fix it. If that happens, they can integrate their fixed version into the stub version of the article. Should there be some sort of discussion on this somewhere more high-profile? I don't really know where to go for that. Any advice is appreciated.
