The article claims Hubli-Dharwad is the second city of Karnataka. Yet the Manipur page states, "It is the second major city in Karnataka state in all aspects after the capital city Bangalore." Can anyone determine which statement is correct please? Normanthehat (talk) 10:21, 7 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Merge proposal: List of people from Hubli Dharwad to Hubli-Dharwad edit

List of people from Hubli Dharwad doesn't really meet WP:NOTABILITY criteria, but would be a useful section here. Boleyn (talk) 19:57, 21 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

No objections in 3 months; merged. Boleyn (talk) 11:16, 30 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hubli-Dharwad is NOT the 2nd largest city in Karnataka in terms of development edit

Hubli-Dharwad is not the 2nd largest city in Karnataka in terms of development. Hubli-Dharwad has the 2nd largest area and population after Bangalore, but having a large area and population doesn't mean that the place is more developed and prosperous.
If that was the case, India and China would have been the most developed countries in the world.
Uttar Pradesh would have been the most developed state in India, which clearly isn't the case.
