I thought about adding this clause the the second sentence: , "and they are still reported to be among the wealthiest families in the world."

referring to this article: Wealthy households set up shop in Asia, Reuters, published in the New York Times, April 17, 2012

But I can't find any substantiation for their vast wealth and significance other than that article (which could be a marketing effort from a wealth management firm). This article says that the primary investors in Parly company are the Rossi family, to manage the proceeds of the sale of Martini & Rossi http://www.institutionalinvestor.com/Popups/PrintArticle.aspx?ArticleID=2182785, the original article says that the Spinola in Singapore is a one fifth owner of some family real estate, and divided ownership of real estate is consistent with having a real estate agent lease it out [1]. Does anybody have any more information on the contemporary significance, wealth and influence of the Spinola family?
