Not descriptive
editThis article does not explain how a horizon tank allows a crew to film looking as if it is in the middle of the ocean. I don't know myself, or I'd add it.--Varkman (talk) 21:46, 9 February 2015 (UTC)
- My understanding is that it's essentially a pool built on a piece of elevated ground at the coast. If the camera is pointed seawards the water in the tank appears to merge with the sea, creating the illusion that the pool stretches out to the horizon. -Ashley Pomeroy (talk) 21:15, 9 June 2018 (UTC)
