Ext. link for Mishna edit

Doesn't look like the wikiSource for the Mishna is intact yet. Once it is, we should probably link to it. (of course, there's no guarantee that will ever happen). -- Vonfraginoff 08:13, 7 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

This is the link, just in case: Ta'anit 3:4

Corrected the reference, it's Ta'anit 3:8, not Ta'anit 3:4. WBcoleman (talk) 08:11, 28 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Jewish miracle workers? 1st century BCE? edit

It's not that far a conjectural leap from that to the loaves and fishes, y'know, and thus to a schism. 68.32.48.221 (talk) 22:21, 29 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Time Travel? edit

The "See Also" section shows time travel. What is that about? I can't even make a tenuous link about time travel with this article.

Adding a bit about the Jerusalem Talmud edit

I am planning on adding in a short section about the different ending to the sleep story in the Jerusalem Talmud and how it is another example of the sleeper story theme. I also am going to point out the Greek Epimenides sleep story because that is the theme's origin and I think that would help with the understanding of a reader. Lastly, I'm adding a source which has this DOI: https://doi.org/10.1163/15700704-12341328. This is an article by a man named Zvi Ron about the one biblical and two Talmudic stories about Honi and how they relate to the sleep theme. The last bit is about making the current writing either incorporate or exclude the Jerusalem Talmud when necessary. I'm aiming for about 200-300 words and I am going to stick as close to that as possible. I would love to receive any input or comments other editors have. Just write me either on this Talk page or my Talk page. Nathan46290 (talk) 07:22, 6 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Sounds like it could be worthwhile. But of course it depends what you do with it. Ar2332 (talk) 08:31, 6 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
Ok, perfect. Do you have anything in mind that you think needs to make it into the section? Also, do you have any general suggestions or tips? Nathan46290 (talk) 21:38, 6 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
Nothing comes to mind - I am not particularly familiar with the sources. Sorry Ar2332 (talk) 06:21, 8 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
The dead link should be fixed now. Thank you for telling me and please let me know if there are any other issues. Nathan46290 (talk) 16:37, 11 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
Thanks. I was wondering, you wrote "a theme originating in the story of Epimenides", do we have actual proof that this is the case? Does the article you linked to say it? (I don't have permission to read it) Ar2332 (talk) 19:16, 11 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
