Talk:Hong Kong National Party

Platform edit

User:STSC put the template advert section under the platform section because he or she thinks it "sounds" like an ad but it should not be considered as an ad as it is a party platform and the party claims what they aimed to achieve. To claim it is an ad it is not true. Look at the Template:Advert_section, the section can only be considered advertisements when they tell users to buy the its product, or in this case to tell users to follow their cause. But it doesn't show as such in the section. Lmmnhn (talk) 14:01, 7 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

Just read WP:ADMASK carefully. Besides, most of the content in the section is copied from the Facebook, I may have to delete it. STSC (talk) 18:07, 8 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

Dissolved? edit

The article states that the HKNP was 'dissolved' on 24 September 2018. That's the date that the government announced the ban, but AFAIK, the organisers have not announced any decision on its future. Banning something does not cause it to disappear. Membership of triad societies is banned under the same law, but that doesn't stop triads operating. If the HKNP has confirmed its dissolution, there should be a citation. Thinginblack (talk) 02:52, 19 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
