This page needs a substantial rewrite with more citations and a more NPOV. Some more detail on the school's history, and some images would help too. Nomenklatura44 (talk) 12:18, 25 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

I have cleaned up this page a little bit. Please do not undo changes without discussing the reasons for them on the discussion board. I have reverted the deletion of the school's HSC achievement — it is necessary as the claim to academic excellence has to be put into context Nomenklatura44 (talk) 09:41, 3 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Redirect removed

edit

I have taken this out as there does not appear to have been a reason for it being here. I am aware that there has been vandalism of this page but I do hope that it will now be edited in a constructive fashion. It is on my watch list. --Nigel (Talk) 09:14, 28 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Suggested addition

edit

May I suggest that Jack Renshaw, a former premier of New South Wales and a Holy Cross old boy be added to this page. --94.54.17.122 (talk) 17:47, 29 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Do not make major changes without discussing them here first

This article has serious problems. It needs to be written to reflect a neutral point of view NPOV, not as a promotion for the school. It also needs references, citations and external links.Nomenklatura44 (talk) 06:34, 30 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Article Rewrite

edit

This article is nonsense. I've been through and removed some baseless claims ("academic excellence", citation: "Paul Sands, Master of Egyptology" -- what?) probably written by a school employee.

How can "Scott Gale" apparently have played for the Balmain Tigers in the NRL when it didn't even exist until 1997/98? The Scott Gale nonsense should be merged into the "Sport" section. The TEC programme section is equal nonsense. If anything it should be merged into the history section.

NAPLAN & HSC results need citations. HSC results from 2008 and 2009 are easily collated based on information released by the Board of Studies. Urdero (talk) 04:44, 28 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

I agree this article is bogus, thanks for fixing up the citations. I have been trying to tinker round the edges but it needs a total overhaul. 203.15.73.30 (talk) 23:44, 28 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

I also think the facilities section needs to be either removed or rewritten. It might be nice that they have a collection of "relevant magazines" and "electronically read ID cards" but... relevance to Wikipedia? Urdero (talk) 07:37, 30 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
