editWhich James Shand does this article refer to. Not the Australian politician right? -- Newhoggy | Talk 00:48, 19 March 2006 (UTC)
Robo-generated external links
editThe external link to archive.org is absurdly broad, including all variations on G H Jackson. The link to Leeds is too specific, omitting other material. The Librivox link is a single random essay with no context. I'm not comfortable fixing these, but I guess if I don't who will? Liana Forrest (talk) 08:45, 2 March 2018 (UTC)
Linking works
editMany of the listed works are online at Hathi and/or archive.org. I hope it's acceptable to link them individually, but I don't know the conventions. Liana Forrest (talk) 08:48, 2 March 2018 (UTC)
Sharper image
editHow do I replace the image with a sharper version? Liana Forrest (talk) 10:56, 2 March 2018 (UTC)
Broken Link
editThe link to Pelican Press is bizarrely redirected to an American weekly paper founded in the late 20th century. If any one knows which Pelican Press is meant here, can they fix the link? I wasn't sure if it meant Pelican books, the imprint of Penguin? Otherwise I will remove the link. — Preceding unsigned comment added by RomQuant (talk • contribs) 13:32, 24 June 2020 (UTC)
You're right, and I removed the link. There is no page I can find about the actual Pelican Press referred to. It was started by Francis Meynell, qv. ZoneAlarm5 (talk) 23:29, 13 September 2020 (UTC)
