HobbyTown has an updated logo. What is the proper way attribute a license to this? The new logo can be seen on the HobbyTown homepage: www.hobbytown.com

As social media manager for HobbyTown home office, I have access to the source files and can upload an SVG, JPEG, or PNG. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nickster123 (talkcontribs) 17:53, 9 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Article class assessment edit

I just added a lot of material, and although my understanding is that I could upgrade the article's classification myself, I'd rather have someone else do that independently. I think I've upgraded it from "Stub" to "Start"; with improvements of sources it might even qualify as a "C", though I'm a bit fuzzy about the classifications.

Sources: I knew all the material I added from being a customer of each of the stores mentioned, but that's the worst form of original research. I was unable to find independent documentation of two sentences about Great Race, but I suspect that documentation exists somewhere; it might require something like searching microfilm of a Lincoln newspaper. A state business license search came up empty, and would count as a primary source anyway. The city only licenses certain kinds of businesses, and that doesn't include hobby stores. An interesting but irrelevant bit of primary source data I found was that the Small Business Adminstration's 1978 annual report said that Great Race received a $13000 SBA loan.

I searched for information about Great Race founder Ron Justvig, and came up with lots of paywalled newspaper scans. Possibly useful articles are in the Lincoln Star (31 August 1975, page 53; 13 January 1977, page 13). Other mentions of Ron Justvig are wedding announcements and ads for lending. Besides the paywalled site, History Nebraska (formerly the Nebraska State Historical Society) has a microfilm archive.

The official corporate web site ignores everything about the company's history before 1985, so besides not being an independent source it's not very helpful. — Steve98052 (talk) 02:39, 7 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
