I'm from Vorarlberg, Bregenz.

Some dialect words:

• Öpfl - Apfel (Standard German): Apple
• Karra - Auto/Karren (Standard German): Car
• Bomm - Baum: Tree
• Huus - Haus: House
• singa - singen: to sing
• weag - weg: way
• fluacha - fluchen: cursing
• klättara/klättra- klettern: rock climbing
• moola - malen: drawing/painting

Some Vorarlberger words:

• Häs - Cloths
• Goba, Göbl, Gaggl, Gofa, Goga - Child
• Tschutta - playing soccer
• Schlotza -
• brunza, biesla , soacha, schiffa - pissing
• s'schifft - it's raining
• ghörig - fairly (can be used as good, for example: How are you? Answer: ghörig - good)
• moll - however
• fuxa - to pick on
• mütza = sleeping
• hofele = cautious/slowly
• gnot - fast
• Schesa = pushchair/stroller
• Karetta - pushcart
• allad - always

diminutive Sub:

House normal: Huus diminutive: Hüs-le

Tree: Bomm - Bömmle Way: Weag - Weagle

diminutive Verb:

painting: normal: moola diminutive: möl-ala

to bathe in the sun: sünnala there's only a diminutive in Vorarlbergerisch, there doesnt exist a normal form

Difference to the German artivle on this topic

This Article states that Lucerne German (except the northern part) is "Eastern Alemannic" while most of Argovian and the northern Lucerne German are "Western Alemannic". However the German Wikipedia states that most of Lucerne German as well as most of Argovian are in fact a Crossover between Eastern and Western Alemannic. And the "part" of Lucerne German that is clearly Western Alemannic is better described as in the west than in the north (actually the southernmost part of Lucerne is the one that is the most "Western Alemannic") --B00nish w4rs (talk) 22:56, 17 February 2019 (UTC)
