Proposing merge from synonym stub Pamphila (genus) to accepted name Hesperia (butterfly) edit

  • Merge - Pamphila (genus) is a stub and a synonym for Hesperia (butterfly). I don't see a reason for two articles.
  • Merge. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a taxonomic database that demands a dedicated page for each taxon, valid or not. If all or most of the former species of Pamphila can be described in Hesperia (or their respective species article), then so be it. --Animalparty! (talk) 23:31, 31 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
