Maybe put it into the main article?
editMost of what has been written by MaverickLord is applicable to Heroes II and Heroes III as well. Maybe it would be better to put this info into the main article of the series and leave only the first part’s specific features here? ~ Aegicen 12:41, 13 August 2005 (UTC)
Incorrect versions?
editThe article claim there are versions 1.3 for DOS and 1.2 for windows. but i cannot find any trace of them. incorrect information? any tips where to find those? thanks. 95.132.1.123 (talk) 20:22, 6 March 2009 (UTC)
- The Heroes of Might and Magic Compendium (HOMM 1 and 2) installs the game as version 1.3 for MS-DOS and 1.2 for Windows. --Litude (talk) 20:20, 28 October 2010 (UTC)

- @Timur9008: Really great find here. The seeming conflict in information can be solved with the distinction between "shipped" and "sold-through"—NWC reported that shipped numbers (to retailers) had reached 100,000 units, and that sell-through (to consumers) was approaching that number. I've added the information to the article. Also, this gives us a solid release date, which I'm not sure we had before. Awesome stuff all around. JimmyBlackwing (talk) 18:37, 18 July 2019 (UTC)
