Incomprehensible sentence in the stub

This sentence, from the stub no less, is the most incomprehensible I have ever read on Wikipedia:

“Although it is based on the actual events of the still unsolved deaths of the 15 people on the opening night, the film reveals the lead-up to the tragedy and documenting what “exactly” went wrong which has since been a mystery to the public.”
