Deleting sourced material edit

Wikipedia is open to everyone on the Internet to place details and information and is not a place to arrange details on subjects to suit private views, in effect arranging the world to suit. The deletion of the details concerning the album release by The Zarjaz containing music by Biber is wrong and against Wikipedia principles. The release is a valid release containing music by Biber and so should be included in any discography despite any personal differences against this release. The release is made on a valid long standing label, by long standing and respected musicians and is available throughout the world. Further, where the Biber page notes references to Biber music in modern terms it is also important to note the significance of Biber being accepted and played by modern audiences as this is a credit to the composer and his music. Sonata Batallia edit

I'd like to find some comment on the famous Sonata Batallia, with an astonishing bitonalism in the beggining. Thanks. --Leonardo T. de Oliveira 14:15, 19 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Missa Sancti Henrici (1697) edit

Several sources, including academic ones apparently, give 1701. Whence 1697? 24 Caprice edit

I can't find the sonata which has the same theme as Paganini's 24 Caprice. Can anyone help me? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.199.66.195 (talk) 16:40, 4 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Parti(t)a edit

In the article "partita" (in the text) and "partia" (in the list of works) are used. I think only "partia" is correct. Can anybody help? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 158.227.184.29 (talk) 15:43, 14 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

List of compositions edit

The list of compositions on this page is quite long and unwealdy, is it general practise on wikipedia to create a list or a catagory... i.e. List of compositions by Heinrich Ignaz Franz Biber (as I have recently done for Johann David Heinichen)? Davemnt (talk) 22:09, 16 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Plaque in Salzburg edit

The plaque does not mark Biber's grave, the location of which is unknown. It is just a general memorial in the cemetery of St. Peter's where Biber was buried.--Suessmayr~enwiki (talk) 15:03, 29 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
