Picture edit

I'm grateful that there's a picture now. But I think a daytime picture would be better. Wes sideman (talk) 14:06, 10 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

@Wes sideman: I agree! I took several and will be reviewing them alongside a batch of Colonial Williamsburg images to determine if mine are suitably encyclopedic for inclusion. Unfortunately, I was only there for my alma mater’s homecoming, so it's likely that any daytime images will be crowded with people in the foreground. Other local editors should consider this an invitation to attempt their own photos. ~ Pbritti (talk) 15:11, 10 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
You mean you didn't wake up at sunrise on homecoming weekend to get a clean shot?? :) Wes sideman (talk) 15:13, 10 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
I'm afraid any images I might have taken in a pre-noon stupor would have been worse than having nothing... ~ Pbritti (talk) 16:20, 10 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Some possible links edit

The vessel has now been added: https://news.wm.edu/2023/03/20/vessel-lighting-wms-hearth-memorial-from-within-to-be-dedicated/

A good reading of Hearth and slavery at W&M is this:

@VictPoets: Thanks for the heads up on the new additions! I'll snap some pics of the vessel when I'm down in town next week. Best ~ Pbritti (talk) 15:48, 12 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
I added a paragraph, thanks for the link. Wes sideman (talk) 14:28, 14 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
