Conflict of interest / about health campaigns

edit

I work for an organization which, among other things, organizes health campaigns. It is my opinion that we get conventional health advice from medical organizations then pass that along. I just put information about one of our campaigns into this article.

One of our partners in Utah was asking if people come to Wikipedia to get regional health information. Many health education organizations operate regionally. In the United States, there were no Wikipedia articles for healthcare by state, so I made several of them.

I choose to make Utah because of our campaign partner there, and the others because I wanted to see if these articles would get traffic.

It is my opinion as someone who works in health education that many organizations would like to note their regional health campaigns somewhere appropriate on Wikipedia. I thought that an appropriate place might be in articles such as these, but I am not sure, and I have a conflict of interest in suggesting it. I put information about our campaign on this page as recorded in the history. I have never seen this done elsewhere on Wikipedia, so I thought I would post here to say why I did it and what my thoughts were. I am curious to see if audiences want this kind of content.
