editSince Cape Cod never completed the acquisition of the Chieftain she was never officially renamed as stated in summary table. She is still Hawaiian Chieftain, is owned by GHHSA and sailed by the same crew that sail the Lady Washington.
needs new picture
editThe picture is no longer acurate, the chieftan is wood brown with blue hilights, i can provide an updated picture from last september. Let me know what you think people. Supra guy 04:28, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

Hawaiian Chiftan credit for the real builder
editI am trying to correct the credits given for the building of Hawaiian Chieftan. She was built at Lahina Welding by Captain Morgan Davies who was hired as the boat builder or shipwright by Gaylord Drake Thomas who was the project manager and is not a boat builder. The other masters of rigging etc are also not credited and after twenty four years it is about time credit was given where it is due and those who would steel others work as their own be revealed.
