Requesting for someone to edit the Honors and E sports edit

Need to add E-Sports Honors (gifinity) and Honors of the team in exhibition matches/leagues (leagues, tours next level) in between the years of 16-18 and edit the e-sports section. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Zvikorn (talkcontribs) 20:25, 28 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Season pages? edit

I am interested to know if Hashtag United should have pages for individual seasons, similar to 2017-18 Manchester City F.C. season? Just previously I added the current season section to the page's infobox, linking to the league's season page. I am willing to create these pages for both the 18-19 season and the 19-20 season, and personally think it would be useful. If anyone else wants to make these pages then of course go ahead. If not, someone with experience let me know if I should (or not). I can start the pages but probably can't add too much information. Thanks heaps, WBPchur (talk) 08:31, 12 June 2019 (UTC).Reply

Hi @WBPchur, are you still interested in doing this? I was just thinking about making one for the current season, and thought I would have a look here to see whether it had been suggested and rebuffed before, which to my knowledge, it hasn't. If you are interested, let me know! MessiIsMyBezzie (talk) 15:36, 25 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Nickname edit war edit

"Hashtag" should not be a nickname as it is literally the club name. As Number 57 says "Ipswich/Norwich/Cambridge" are not listed as nicknames. TheMasterGuru (talk) 22:02, 13 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Edit war (again) edit

Hello All, I preface this discussion by stating that nor I nor Number 57 should comment here please. I want to see the view point from third parties. Number 57 has reverting my notable content (see below) 3 times in the past 24 hours. He has the last re vert which I believe is a 24 hour block. See Wikipedia:3RR.

Nevertheless, I believe that my content is notable because in this case (of many others) I have 1. written it correctly, 2. sourced it with articles from third parties 3 It is actually major of the clubs history. This is because it is notable that Scott Pollack who played in Wembley cup 2016 won Hashtag Academy. Which is how he got onto Hashtag. Very notable because he then went on to sign for a league 1 club. (very notable in my opinion).

Secondly, the second Hashtag academy series: A second chance and the player who won it is very notable because: It was sponsored by adidas, and is mentioned by multiple sources of the third party.

Once again I ask that an admin takes a look at this and that Number 57 and I both refrain from continuing. Once again stating that with Number 57's last revert there is a 24 hour block. See Wikipedia:3RR. Idan (talk) 14:28, 30 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Just to correct the untrue statements above, I have not reverted three times in the last 24 hours. My reverts were on 27, 29 and 30 November. Even if they had been within the last 24 hours, this is still not a breach of 3RR - four reverts is a breach.
Just because an event has happened and been reported does not make it notable enough to be included in the club's history section. There are daily news stories on many clubs, which would never be deemed worthy of inclusion in a writeup of their history.
Yet again Zvikorn has repeatedly tried to make changes despite being reverted on several occasions - see the section above detailing their multiple attempts to claim the main part of the club's name as a nickname. It would be nice if this didn't happen nearly every time.
Finally, asking me not to comment after you have made a highly partisan set of claims is ridiculous - combined with the failure to understand 3RR or correctly identify when edits are made, it only adds to my concerns about your competence in editing Wikipedia and understanding what is appropriate content and behaviour. Taking to talk after a break edit

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to hear your opinion on adding the following two statements to the article:

1. In the sentence "the team included Scott Pollock", I suggest adding "who won Hashtags Academy series with the following third party independent of the subject reference: [1]. The first academy series is a notable part of the clubs history for a number of reasons: first, the academy series winner is a notable player with his own wikipedia article and second, not every club (and seldom clubs at this level) has an open academy with over 40,000 applicants.

2. After the following sentence: They went on to win the Division One South title, earning promotion to the Essex Senior League I suggest adding a new paragraph with the following wording: During the 2019 summer, the club held another round of trials known as Hashtag Academy Second Chance. The is supported with the following third party independent of the subject reference: [2] I believe this is a notable part of the clubs history for a number of reasons: 1. the academy series winner has signed for the first team 2. not every club (and seldom clubs at this level) has an open academy with this size of publicity.

I hope to hear some feedback on what you guys think about these additions. I'm looking to hear from at least 3-5 people. FYI I can provide more sources for these additions if needed. Thank you for reading Idan (talk) 18:35, 7 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

  • Comment I don't really see what either of them add to the article. The second suggestion is particularly pointless IMO. Number 57 21:32, 7 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

  • Thanks for your input, lets wait and see what other users have to say. Idan (talk) 05:59, 8 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Sources regarding Staff edit

Hey @Number 57: could you provide a source on Alex Osipczak being co owner? as well as Issa Hussein being an assisted coach? I just looked at the Hashtag digital program and they are not listed. Idan (talk) 09:24, 11 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

I didn't add this information, so not sure why you are asking me. She calls herself co-owner on her Twitter account and is listed as a club director on the website and Companies House. Can't find anything about Hussein though. Number 57 23:02, 11 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Honours edit

The honour section, should reflect competitions the club has won as a side whilst entering registered competitions. The pre-organised Honours should be included in context of the time. The only official Honours they have is for the eastern counties league. 2800:A4:1771:8200:E8EC:60A6:CB75:C41D (talk) 03:29, 29 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
