I don't think this should be a redirect. When QinetiQ bought HVR it was a new story in the Financial Times; when QinetiQ got rid of the original management is was also a news story in the Financial Times. These were not stubs - they were proper stories. The Financial Times believed that QinetiQ's acquisition of HVR was important.

I think there is enough information out there do turn the original stub article on HVR into a reasonably good article. If the Financial Times thought that HVR was notable, that should be good enough for Wikipedia.
