Ryu qualified? edit

Dear @Theworldgymnast1, are you sure Ryu S.H. is already qualified? As I count it, he has 66 points now (30 from Cairo, 20 from Cottbus and 16 from Baku). And if Penev wins in Doha and Sharamkou is second, they would have 68 (20+0+18+30) and 69 (0+14+30+25), respectively. Very small chance that it happens, however...? Maybe you are confused by the fact that Penev is already qualified from the 2024 vaut world championships, but that is Kevin, not his brother Eddy. Okino (talk) 11:08, 9 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

And Ryu is back... @ThiagoSimoes: Read above about Ryu S.H.
And regarding Abu-Al Soud, he can still lose the spot, if South Korea's Hur Woong wins and Kurbanov finishes second in Doha - then Hur has 75, Kurbanov 73 and Abu-Al Soud only 71. Hur's qualification is however conditioned by the Ryu S. H. elimination in floor (as already 2 South Koreans are qualified and Ruy can reach the limit of three). Overall it is an improbable result conditioned by another improbable result, but if you insist only mathematically qualified athletes can be listed, it is nor Ruy, neither Abu-Al Soud yet. @ThiagoSimoes - now I found the official tables of the Olympic qualification with a separate points (before I based my computations on World Cup points), and yes, you are right with Ryu and Al Soud. And – one of the Colombians is definitely through, we just don't know, which one. Okino (talk) 18:27, 12 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
