DesBarres Manor
editMy family stayed in the DesBarres Manor on a trip in 1997. As I recall, a German couple had purchased the property a year or two earlier and had renovated it into a bed & breakfast, but fell on hard times and sold the property not many years later. At the moment I can't find any sources to establish that, though, so I've left a "disputed" tag on the article in case someone with better access to late-1990s newspapers wants to take a look at it.
