In the picture it looks like the man in coloured pants is trying to lift somebody up rather than him being choked.

- You can, though once you have started to apply big pressure to the neck it would probably become a neck crank rather than a straight up guillotine which is when you squeeze the carotid arteries and cause loss of consciousness due to lack of blood to the brain. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.15.160.98 (talk) 18:18, 28 March 2013 (UTC)
Legal in judo? edit
The article says the guillotine is taught in judo. But is it actually legal in tournaments because of the neck crank potential?--Razionale (talk) 13:36, 2 April 2011 (UTC)
