Maybe make this article a redirect to GDP (Gross Domestic Product)? lavacano201014 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Lavacano201014 for user talk page) 14:51, 27 October 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Lavacano201014 (talkcontribs) Reply

I disagree, GDP and GNI are differente measures, as far as I know. AadaamS (talk) 19:41, 2 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

GNI really equal to GDP?

edit

Is GNI really equal to GDP? I was under the impression that GDP includes profits in a region that are made by foreign-owned companies, profits that may or might not end up in other countries. Therefore the GNP and GNI can hardly be the same. I'm no expert on these things. AadaamS (talk) 08:08, 3 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Interesting that gross revenue earned is not mentioned in the calculations. Netting out items distorts true absolute income numbers. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.110.77.173 (talk) 20:57, 13 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
