thanks for the article about coleman, i was under the impression his 2. first name was Sylvester...
I so wanna know what he thought of the reuse of the amen break. I mean it seems that he didn't wanna sue - but I wonder if he was really proud of it. Quite an achievement IMO. --Thomas 13:15, 25 April 2007 (UTC)
If you check the history of the amen break article you will see that at one point someone (I think it could have been Richard L. Spencer himself) left a very angry entry. Apparently Coleman was very unhappy with the fact he never received any royalties and the person who left that note said it was a big injustice to black music which I kinda agree with.
