Suggestion: Move article "Good Morning (duo)" back to "Good Morning (band)

edit

Edit made by user Tobyjamesaus is factually incorrect. While Liam Parsons and Stefan Blair are the core "duo" of the band, and often refer to themselves as "duo mode", it's factually incorrect. Good Morning, as a band, has had far more members than just Parsons and Blair, not to mention frequent collaborators. I do have a bit of a WP:COI as they've been my favourite band since 2017 and I've interacted with their members several times; but I try to keep my editing and reporting as neutral as possible while adding information that can be reliably sourced. (e.g., I'm not gonna make an edit saying they're the best band in the world, even though they obviously are /s)

More information on the above claims, which definitely need to be sourced reliably by someone better at sourcing things reliably than me, would be great. I'm working on a few other (non-Wikipedia) sources of information about the band that lay out a lot of this in greater detail, but there isn't as much coverage about the inner machinations of Melbourne jangle-pop as I would like :P

I'll provide a list of some names associated with this band and we can go from there:

Joe (or Joey) Alexander: founder of Bedroom Suck Records, was their touring drummer for some time James (or Jim) MacLeod: has been their bassist and drummer intermittently, in both studio and live capacities John Considine: was their bassist before James was, mostly in live/touring capacities Greer Clemens: appeared on GM7 and live with Liam and Stefan (found recordings) Dannika Horvat: appeared on GM7 and has done other stuff with them Dylan Young: also of Snowy Band and Way Dynamic, co-wrote "Excalibur" from GM7 and appeared live with them Frankie Cosmos: toured with them Waxahatchee: touring with them

I'm sure there's more I'm forgetting but I'm running out of brain power. Sorry this is a mess. Olliflower (talk) 05:27, 17 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
