"At the request of the Secretary of State, Cardinal Amleto Cicognani, Pope Paul VI made him a domestic prelate with the title Right Reverend Monsignor." I am afraid this statement is false. After reviewing every copy of the Annuario Pontificio for the pontificate of Paul VI, there is not one mention of this honor being awarded, just as there is no mention of the name of Fr. De Pauw on the index. I would appreciate the author of the article clarifying this issue without evasions.
