No consensus to move. Feel free to merge the two dab pages. Vegaswikian (talk) 22:07, 8 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

– Per WP:PRECISION, Golden Road (album) is the only existing article of a primary topic that is neither a redirect nor non-notable. I'm neither favoring nor opposing this proposal. In fact, sometimes I interpret "golden road" as a "yellow brick road" from The Wonderful Wizard of Oz or a mini-game from The Price Is Right. Nevertheless, an album is the only article that currently exists. This proposal contradicts Talk:Big Day#Move?. George Ho (talk) 07:00, 1 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

  • Not convinced ... yes technically there's only one capitalized article, but that's more by chance than anything else:
In 1972, Hao Ran published his second novel The Golden Road, which was later dubbed as “Model Novel of the Cultural Revolution”.
The Golden Road (1965-1973) - Garcia: An American Life - Page 123 Blair Jackson - 2000 ""The Golden Road" is a fine bit of aural fluff dominated by fast, ringing electric guitars and an overdubbed acoustic picked by Garcia, a swirling Pigpen organ line and Garcia's bright lead vocal, which almost sounds like he's smiling ..."
Maine Birding Trail: The Official Guide Page 193 Bob Duchesne - 2009 "All major roads and many of the secondary routes provide convenient mile markers to enable rudimentary navigation, and this guide refers to them often. The Golden Road is the most famous of the artery routes. It begins outside of Baxter ..."
As it stands "Golden Road (album)" immediately tells anyone landing on it it is only one of the dozens of "Golden Road"s on Google Books, and not the one they're looking for... I'd be inclined to just leave it. Too generic to have anything occupying the main article other than a disamb. In ictu oculi (talk) 12:57, 1 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
