The material I added was from an official Coast Guard mailing (out of Brentwood NJ, permit #36). It gives http://goethalseis.com as its web site, but this is already documented in the text.--MarkTwainOnIce 05:28, 1 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hi Everyone Just a thought. It would be a good idea if all articles on bridges and roads specificied whether the structure in question has pedestrian and bicycle access. It could be included in the standard info box on the right side of the page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.164.201.40 (talk) 10:58, 7 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hi guys... I would like to edit this page to make some minor informational changes, such as the cost of the new bridge project, the length of the main span of the new bridge, and the height and the height limit of the new bridge. I believe this is important because it describes some important information that the average person might want to know or reference JP4119 (talk) 20:29, 15 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

bicycle path edit

About the original bridge, the article says, "The bridge also had no shoulders for emergency access, or pedestrian walkways or bike paths." It had such a path in 1980. I rode my bicycle across it, on a narrow path on the north side of the bridge separated from the motor vehicle traffic. Tom239 (talk) 02:29, 17 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
