Please help add the right ones. Thanks. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 02:29, 28 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Is this list complete? Where, for example is "Aria Variata Alla Maniera Italiana BWV 989?" Gould recorded it in May 1971 in Eaton's Auditorium. Although it was not released in his lifetime it was eventually (of course, by CBS). It is on YouTube. It is mentioned in the appendix at the end of Monsaingeon's (?) book. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.206.239.35 (talk) 03:28, 24 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

This is only the list of studio recordings released by Columbia during Gould's lifetime. It is missing at least his 1952 recording of Berg Sonata, Op. 1, on the Canadian Hallmark label, as well as his live output. Dmoerner (talk) 19:19, 22 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Also missing are the 1968 recordings of Beethoven's Piano Sonatas Nos. 24 & 29. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 113.182.215.248 (talk) 15:32, 2 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

Record Catalog numbers edit

Would it be appropriate to list record label numbers (i.e. "Columbia ML 5060" next to the Goldberg Variations, etc)? I don't have a list of all but do have some of them. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 107.0.94.238 (talk) 18:16, 12 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Columbia edit

I believe it's Columbia, not Colombia. Those are two different things. - Gus (T, C) 2011-09-03 05:35Z

Many recordings are not in this list. edit

These are which I know:

1995 release edit

This list confines itself to "original studio recordings". It seems there is a 1995 release [https://www.discogs.com/release/7893083-Glenn-Gould-Chopin-Mendelssohn-Scriabin-Prokofiev-Chopin-Piano-Sonata-No-3-Mendelssohn-Songs-Without] which includes some recordings (notably, Chopin's Sonata in B minor) which I gather were made for broadcast by the CBC. Does this count as a "studio recording"? Stevage 01:00, 14 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
