Copyvio

edit

I have removed the history part of the article as an unattributed copyright violation. the original text is copyright Lindsay Foyle in 2006 and comes from here: [1]. No-one thought to check whether 50K of text added by an IP [[2]] was a copyvio? I have also removed all other edits to that section since then. I realise that this is a bit slash and burn, but copyright violation must not be tolerated. Please feel free to add back any original text only. AKAF (talk) 12:45, 13 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Pogo vs Ginger

edit

Ginger Meggs has been with us for decades as the leading Australian cartoon, and even features on a stamp, and this is the absolutely paltry Wikipedia entry he gets. Look at Pogo and about a thousand American entries on even their most obscure cartoons to see what can be done. Disgusting. And the same goes for just about ALL the Ozzie entries. Why the deep cultural cringe? And is Ginger really our "favorite boy"? Favorite is spelled favourite in Australia. Completely disgusting and shameful! Eric155 (talk) 08:51, 3 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
