Ingrained culture of drugs - must be covered in an encyclopaedic article edit
I am amazed reading this article that there is no mention of the drugs culture of this island. It is pretty much its sole claim to fame.
When I was there I was horrified by the extent of it, and how open it was, far exceeding anything I have ever seen in Europe, or any other part of the world for that matter. We took our children off the island at the very first opportunity, and we were angry that we had not had forewarning about the disgusting state of the place. --Mais oui!
