Gibson ES 330 and Epiphone Casino are quite different in construction. Original Casinos are five ply laminate in the body construction (maple/birch/maple/birch/maple) whereas the ES 330 is a three ply construction with maple og front and back - and maple or poplar as the blind layer. That makes the Casino less prone to feed back conpared to the ES 330. So - it cannot be said that these two guitars - both build in Gibsons long time closed down Kalamazoo factory.

Sweet guitar, but are you sure that's a 330, and not a 335 with P-90 pickups? I always thought the fingerboard went in far deeper on 330s than on 335s; the neck doesn't seem to go in too deeply into the body in the picture (compare with photos of The Beatles' Casinos, etc). Is it an all-hollow body or does it have a solid core like the 335s?--74.66.81.86 (talk) 05:01, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
The picture is absolutely a 330. The 335 always had humbuckers, was semi-hollow with the inside center wood block, and it's neck was connected at 19th fret. The neck connection of the original 330's, was at 15th fret; it was later connected at 19 after players complained it was difficult to reach the upper frets. Also, the 330 had a trapeze tailpiece, the 335 had (and still has) the stop tailpiece. An easy way to differentiate the two is look at the headstocks. The 330 only had the Gibson signature logo, the 335 has the same signature but also had additional 'crown' (pearl?) inlay about center- I also have the same 330 from '67.Dcrasno (talk) 00:25, 29 November 2009 (UTC)

Fixed Bridge?
editI'm looking at section that mentions the presence of a fixed bridge. I thought that the guitar was hollow.
