Talk:Ghanche District

For the information of Mr. hassan let me tell him and other such people that there are ample examples in the history that great scholars do not had conventional degrees but they attained high degree of intellectual and religious achievements through their personnel untirring efforts and enthusiasm. Sajjad Balghari holds a master degree in English and Engineering Geology and a diploma in Darse Nizami.

Religion edit

I notice that the material on the Noorbakshi tradition found in the religion section of this article is repeated pretty well verbatim in the religion section of another article Balti people. Wouldn't this material be much better off moved to a seperate "Noorbakshi" article to which both these articles could then refer?.

I agree, yes there should be a separate article on Noorbakshi, Ghanche District should be primarily about the district, of course it needs to mention the people - their beliefs and other demographic factors, but any indepth info about religions beliefs should be in another article.

I also agree with above two commenter the information about Noorbakshi sect should be discussed in some other page not in the Ghanche article. Let me also mention that the Norbakshi's are not only the sect in Ghanche district, there is considerable percentage of other islamic sects like Shite and Ahlehadiths.

Abdullah

This article is inappropriate for Ghanche District and needs to be included in a new entry of its own. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Baqirpa (talkcontribs) 15:37, 22 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
